Rumination is the enemy of a diarist, for the latter is defined by the act of sharing with another, probably with
oneself in a moment of stillness or in the future, and thus some action, some disclosure, some exposition, some exchange, is
implied; yet, the former is concealed, secluded and ultimately done in isolation. A poor title indeed! I'm
silent and frozen like the oak tree on the first cold December night.
